The Myometal Team

Our Story

Myometal was formed out of a desire to provide an alternative to the exorbitant cost of all of the other soft tissue tool sets on the market.

As a chiropractic student, Dr. Tim knew how valuable having a set of IASTM tools would be, but being a student he didn't have the $2,000+ that some of the other sets cost.  He knew there had to be a better way, and so he began the mission to find a more affordable option.

One way to reduce the cost of the set that became immediately apparent was to reduce the number of tools in the set.  Most sets feature four or more tools, but many of the pieces provide little added benefit.  The Myometal design team sought to reduce the number of tools in the Myometal set, while still meeting the functional demands of practice.  This was achieved by combining the function of several of the more specialized pieces, making the Myometal set more efficient and convenient to use.

Another stumbling block for providing such an affordable set of tools, while still maintaining the highest quality possible, lies in the expense of stainless steel and the difficulty of shaping, beveling and polishing it. Numerous hours were spent finding the right suppliers and individuals properly skilled to make the Myometal instruments.

The end result is the most affordable, highest quality instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization set available.
